Škor Square in Stari Grad
While in Stari grad, be sure to stop by Škor Square, whose atmosphere will take you back to the Baroque period. This charming little square, built in the 17th/18th century, is surrounded by houses in the style of the Renaissance, Baroque and folk architecture of the island of Hvar, and today it is a protected cultural site.

• It was named after the shipyard that was located here until the 17th/18th century when the square was built
• The front part of the square overlooked the sea until the embankment of the Stari Grad coastline in the 19th century
