  • The Elafiti are an archipelago consisting of 13 islands and islets, the largest one being Šipan and the rest are Lopud, Koločep, Jakljan, Ruda, Goleč, Crkvine, Daksa, Sv. Andrija, Mišnjak, Kosmeč, Tajan and Olipa
  • The only permanently inhabited islands are the three biggest ones, Šipan, Lopud and Koločep, and their inhabitants are known for their hospitality. They will gladly take you fishing or offer you home-made food, wine and rakija
  • Šipan is the furthest from Dubrovnik and there are 2 villages on it: Šipanska Luka and Suđurađ. This island is in the Guinness Book of Records as an island with the most olives compared to its size and number of inhabitants. You will find numerous beautiful summer houses, the Renaissance castle of the family Stjepović-Skočibuha, hidden beaches in coves and small restaurants with tasty island cuisine
  • The Lopud Island, filled with the Mediterranean and subtropical vegetation is located between Šipan and Koločep. Here you can enjoy walks on paths through thick pine woods and citrus gardens, swim on the sandy beach Šunj, enjoy the sightseeing of churches, summer houses and forts and then taste the delightful Mediterranean cuisine. And the best thing is – there are no cars
  • The Koločep Island or Kalamota is filled with pine and carob and it is a true Mediterranean haven for nature, sandy beaches and fishing enthusiasts. On this traffic-free island are 2 villages, Gornje Čelo and Donje Čelo, connected by a picturesque, 3 km long walking trail. One of the main attractions is the Blue Cave that can only be reached by swimming
  • How to reach the island? There is a ship from the Dubrovnik harbour Gruž to the Elafiti Islands that leaves a couple of times a day during the summer and makes stops on all of the islands. There are also numerous tourist lines or you can rent a boat or a sailboat
