Once a mining town, Raša will fascinate you with its regular rows of houses that rise surreally out of the valley landscape. Continue down the route and you’ll reach Most-Raša. Follow the macadam road along the river Raša and enjoy the plains landscape until you reach Tupljak, from where a macadam road will take you to Zankovci. Then take the road towards Kostrčani, Zatka and Čepić, where you should make sure to visit the entry to the tunnel used long ago to drain Čepić lake and turn it into fertile farmland. The next points that await you along this route are Kožljak and Kršan above the Čepić field. Passing through Matijašići, Gorenj Kraj and Kraj Draga on through Zulijani and Županići to Martinski, you will reach the village of Snašići, and as you pass through Barbići you will complete the loop and head back to the starting point in Raša via a fire road.

- Built in 1937 according to designs by architect Gustavo Pulitzer Finali, Raša was a true modern town conceived for the needs of miners and their families. It featured everything from a school, hospital, cinema and sports hall to a church dedicated to the patron saint of miners – St. Barbara.
- You can find traces of mining history in the Church of St. Barbara, built in the shape of an upside-down mine wagon, whose bell tower is reminiscent of a miner’s lamp. You can also browse the church’s interesting mining collection.
- Visit Kožljak and Kršan – typical examples of fortified settlements whose romantic ruins beckon you to stroll through them.
